COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) -Virgil Robert Albea, 62, a resident of Lafayette for the past year, previously of Covington, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday (Jun 9, 1970) at Home Hospital in Lafayette. Born March 31, 1908, in Covington, he was the son of Edward and Kearney Brasker Albea. He was a former barber and presently a Pinkerton Agent at the Peerless Wire Co. Mr. Albea was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Covington and the Colfax American Legion Post 439. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Thelma Henderson of Covington; a brother, Jack Albea of Covington; three nephews; two great-nieces and a great-nephew. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hegg Funeral Home in Covington. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends will be received after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

“Funeral Notices” – Albea, Virgil Robert – Friends will be received after 6 p.m. Thursday at Hegg Funeral Home, Covington.  Service there at 2 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Harold Fogle officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Also surviving are three nephews, two great nieces and one great nephew.

Estate # 1532 – Notice to heirs, creditors, etc in the matter of the Estate of Virgil R. Albea, deceased. Notice is hereby given that more than six months have elapsed since the publication of notice of the appointment of Jack L. Albea as administrator of the estate of Virgil R. Albea, deceased said administrator having filed his account and vouchers in final settlement of said estate and a petition that the same be settled and allowed and that he be authorized to make distribution and on the 17th day of March 1971, having been fixed as the day at which such account and petitions shall be presented and heard, now all heirs, creditors, devisees, legatees of said decedent and all persons interested in said state are required to appear in said court at said time and show cause if any there be, why said account and vouchers should not be approved and the prayer of such petitions granted. And the heirs, devisees and legatees of said decedent and all others interested in said estate are also hereby required at the time and place aforesaid to make proof of their heirship or claim to any part of said estate. Witness the Clerk and seal of said Tippecanoe Circuit Court at Lafayette Indiana this 24th day of February 1971. Amy L.
